Basic Fitting Guidelines for Custom Heater/Fan & HVAC Button Face Plates

TIP: Wearing latex or similar gloves will help to keep the face plates fingerprint free during installation. This is especially important for the brushed stainless finish as the fingerprints can be troublesome to remove later. If you do get finger prints on the face plates use a lint free soft cloth and your warm breath to remove.

First you will need to remove the interior dash panels and remove the HVAC unit (Google if unsure how, allow 30mins)

Prise off the heater control knobs - using two forks as levers if they don’t come off easily.

Peel off the old backing faces and remove any excess glue left behind with white spirits.

Remove the paper backing from the Custom Heater/Fan & HVAC Button Face Plates and stick it down onto the surface of the heater control box in the correct place. Press down firmly and keep pressure for 30 seconds. Once completed for all face plates you can re-install the HVAC unit.

Basic Fitting Guidelines for Billet HVAC Dials

Simply push the billet dials firmly over the existing plastic dials.

On rare occasions due to slight variations in the factory plastic dials some may need a small amount of masking tape to be applied to the plastic dial before fitting the stainless dial to ensure a tight fit.
